Afrobeats is dance class named by the music genre. You will learn some energetic modern day way of African dance influenced by various styles such as traditional dances, coupe decale, ndombolo, azonto but as well hip-hop, dancehall and etc. The sounds originate from West Africa with the main mecca being Nigeria. In the class you will learn basic movements, trending moves and combos.

Laura Laiapea aka LL is an entrepreneur, dancer, teacher and choreographer with a versatile dance background. Her main focus on  afrobeats and afrohouse.  Her afro journey started in 2012 with azonto. Since then, she has travelled to Ghana, Portugal, Germany and the UK to further her skills and knowledge. She is working closely with the local afrobeats artists on performances and videos. At the moment, she is building up a new performance crew and teaching weekly classes in Helsinki. She is the leader of Afro Vibe Dance Company and a teacher at the dance schools Azembora, Baila Baila & Free Flow Studio.
