Songhoy Blues, one of summer 2015 Fest Afrika festival’s performers, was featured on the frontpage of the March issue of the respected Songlines magazine. The magazine calls the band “Mali’s Next Big Thing” – come to check them out in July!
Fest Afrika Winter Jam is approaching! On Saturday, February 28th, there will be African sunshine in the middle of winter at Klubi in Tampere, performances by Es-Ow and Ridial Band, and Urban Groove Collective. Also a dance workshop of afrobeat & azonto will take place on the same weekend!
The dates of the summer festival are July 20th – 26th, and this year’s theme is “New Africa”, mark the dates!
