There will be a workshop of East African dance and drumming in connection to Fest Afrika Winter Jam!
The teachers are Ally and Julia Milao, who have both studied at the world famous Bagamoyo College of Arts and who live now in Jyväslylä. Ally and Julia visited Tampere already in January and now they are bringing us more rhythms and dances from Tansania. We will be playing ngoma drums and there are some that can be borrowed if you don’t have one yourself. Dancers and drummers of all levels are welcome to the workshop!
