Ondi Madete tutkii toivoa, identiteettiä ja yhteyttä keskellä tätä palavaa maailmaa. Esitys koostuu runoudesta, laulusta, instrumentaalimusiikin, liikkeen ja spoken word -taiteen avulla. Esitys on henkilökohtainen pohdinta ja tutkimusmatka siihen, mitä toivo tarkoittaa juuri nyt ja mikä on sen paikka sydämessämme ja kehossamme.
Ondi Madete on kenialainen monialainen tarinankertoja, jonka kotipaikka on nykyisin Porissa. Ondi tutkii sanojen, kitaran, laulun ja visuaalisuuden avulla identiteettiä, yhteyttä ja perspektiiviä.

Hope in the midst of Burning with Ondi Madete
Ondi Madete explores hope, identity and connection in the midst of the burning world we are all experiencing through performance poetry, singing, looped instrumentals, movement and spoken word. The performance is a personal reflection and exploration of what hope means right now and how it sits in our heart and body.
Ondi Madete is a multi-disciplinary storyteller from Kenya based in Pori, Finland. Using words, guitar, vocals and visuals Ondi explores identity, connection, and perspective.
